More and more vacationers are traveling with their pets these days, and many
Mendocino businesses have responded.
Many local lodging establishments
allow pets, and some provide special
services. MacCallum House Inn, in
Mendocino Village, has recently been
awarded “The Golden Bone Award” by
The Dog Lover’s Companion to California, thanks to their special care of canine
guests, including a care package in each
room a dog stays in.
The Stanford Inn, in Little River,
has a long history of pet-friendliness;
pets are welcome there for an additional
charge, and the inn will even provide
food and water bowls, furniture covers,
and a treat.
The Inn at Schoolhouse Creek also
recently received The Golden Bone
Award.

State Park let you camp with your dog.
The Mendocino Coast Botanicals Gardens, in Fort Bragg, allows dogs on the
leash as do most of the local and state

Feed in additional to livestock needs are
stocking a range of feeds for dogs and
cats.
Businesses such as PAWS in Fort
Bragg and Evergreen Barn in Mendocino
cater to the every need of the discerning
pet and owner. In the case of Evergreen
Barn that even includes a walk-in dog
bathing tub.

Resort offers a unique and comforting option for dog and cat owners who

In Ukiah, Pet ‘Porium is a complete
