Hopland Is A Lot
Of Town For Its Size
Hopland is a tiny town with a surprisingly big list of attractions. You could
wake up in an historic Victorian inn that
dates back to the late 1800’s, then stroll
over to an old-fashioned roadside cafe for
a hearty breakfast. You might visit a gallery of Native American jewelry, or tour
a Solar Living Center. You might drop
in at the first post-prohibition brew pub
in California to enjoy something from
the tap. You might spend the afternoon
tasting local fine wine, perusing a charming gift shop, or playing Bocce Ball. All
this and you will have covered just the
few blocks that make up the main part
of this interesting little town of about
800 friendly folks. Checking out the
surrounding area, and you’ll find several
more excellent wineries, an exciting
casino and lovely vistas of oak-studded
hills and vineyards, and the meandering
Russian River. All in all, Hopland is a lot
of town for its size.
