Bahl Hornin’ at the Boonville Beer Festival!
The Legendary Boonville Beer Festival
is an event, the profits from which are
donated to local nonprofit organizations.
We invite a myriad of breweries to
come showcase their wares in the
pleasant, relaxed, outdoor setting of the
Mendocino County
Fairgrounds in
Boonville, California.
The Bahl Hornin’
Foundation, a nonprofit organization
created by Anderson
Valley Brewing
Company founder
Kenneth Allen,
dispersed $66,500
raised from the 13th
Annual Legendary Boonville Beer Festival
to local community organizations.
The Bahl Hornin’ Foundation receives
most of its funding from the beer festival
held at the fairgrounds in Boonville each
year in the beginning of May. The 2009
festival featured nearly 80 breweries and
an estimated record 5,800 supporters
despite rain and the overall economy.
The total amount raised for local
organizations through the festival has
totaled $322,155 since 2003.
